Our result revealed that ST3Gal IV overexpression caused a significant increase in the expression of levels of Jagged1, Notch1 and the downstream molecules, and the upregulation of p21 inhibited the expression of CDKs, suggesting that ST3Gal IV might participate in the modulation of Notch receptors or ligands in cervical cancer cells. This evidence concerns the gene ST3GAL4 and cervical carcinoma.
