The induction of the other NR4A family members during CD8+ T cell responses was first supported by the rapid and transient transcription of Nr4a1, Nr4a2, and Nr4a3 during the immune response to Listeria monocytogenes infection (91) with a peak of expression at 12h post T cell activation and a return to baseline levels at 48h. This evidence concerns the gene NR4A1 and listeriosis.
