In the present study, the decreasing trend of IL-7 concentration in colitis mice after curcumin intervention was consistent with CD4+ TEM; however, the trend of IL-15 and IL-21 change was not consistent with CD8+ TEM cells, probably due to the fact that IL-15 and IL-21 were detected in colonic tissue while CD8+ TEM was in blood. Here, CD8A is linked to colitis.
