Our results showed a robust association between weight loss and the presence of altered AD biomarkers, with each annual percentual point of decrease in body weight being associated with a higher likelihood of having a positive FTM-PET visual read (OR 1.27), abnormal CSF p-tau levels (OR 1.50), and being A+T+ vs A-T- profile (OR 1.64). This evidence concerns the gene MAPT and Alzheimer disease.
