From the studies selected from cBioPortal, alterations in the LPIN1, LPIN2 and LPIN3 genes within prostate cancer, prostate adenocarcinoma, castration-resistant prostate cancer and prostate neuroendocrine carcinoma resulted in amplification being the major form of alteration (Fig. 11a). The gene discussed is LPIN1; the disease is prostate adenocarcinoma.
