HSP90AA1 and lung carcinoma: This corroborates recent findings whereby HSP90AA1 mRNA transcripts were found to be upregulated in a lung carcinoma cell line (H1299) infected with SARS‐CoV‐2 (preprint: Emanuel et al, 2020)—prompting the authors to reveal that HSP90AA1 inhibition with tanespimycin similarly blocked SARS‐CoV‐2 replication in Calu‐3 cells.
