SCHLAP1 and Familial prostate cancer: In the present study, we characterized for the first time that the lncRNA SChLAP1, which was highly expressed in prostate cancer tissues and cell lines, promoted the development of prostate cancer through interacting with the histone methyltransferase EZH2 protein to repress the expression of multiple miRNAs, including miR-340-5p, miR-143-3p, and miR-145-5p.
