Specifically, plasma p-tau231 had high diagnostic accuracy in distinguishing AD from non-AD dementias (AUC = 0.93), which included primary tauopathies (e.g., frontotemporal dementia, progressive supranuclear palsy and corticobasal degeneration) and this is most likely the main clinical application of plasma p-tau.
