As for anti-CTLA-4, tremelimumab (31) has been evaluated in a phase II, in a non-controlled, open-label, multicenter clinical trial, in patients with HCC not amenable to locoregional treatment and chronic hepatitis C. Tremelimumab showed a good safety profile along with encouraging outcomes in terms of RR (17.6%), disease control rate (DCR) (76,4%) and time to progression (TTP) (6.48 months). This evidence concerns the gene CTLA4 and hepatocellular carcinoma.
