Further functional enrichment analysis showed that the ceRNA network was mainly involved in some cancer-related pathways including “microRNAs in cancer,” “transcriptional misregulation in cancer,” “cell cycle,” “p53 signaling pathway,” “colorectal cancer,” “small cell lung cancer,” etc., which was not surprising at all to us because more and more evidence indicated that at the molecular levels various cancers were interconnected. Here, TP53 is linked to cancer.
