In terms of clinicopathological characteristics in the BRCA1 and BRCA2 cohorts according to hormone receptor status, the features that remained differently distributed were country of origin and tumor grade in patients with hormone receptor-positive disease (more likely Israeli origin and high-grade tumors in the BRCA1 cohort) as well as age and HER2 status in those with hormone receptor-negative tumors (younger age and more likely HER2-negative status in the BRCA1 cohort). The gene discussed is BRCA1; the disease is neoplasm.
