In terms of first DFS event, patients with hormone receptor-positive breast cancer had a higher incidence of distant (±loco-regional) recurrences (16.1% vs. 9.0%, P < 0.001) and lower incidence of second primary malignancies (breast cancer: 12.1% vs. 17.9%, P = 0.005; non-breast cancer: 2.8% vs. 4.0%, P = 0.18) compared to women with hormone receptor-negative disease (Table 3).
