Resulting chimeras from BC have successfully generated entire, functional organs, such as the pancreas, kidney, eye, and lung, derived from the progeny of donor stem cells, by complementing genes necessary for their formation (pancreatic and duodenal homeobox 1 (PDX1), Sal-like like protein 1 (SALL1), melanocyte inducing transcription factor (MITF), and fibroblast growth factor receptor 2 (FGFR2), respectively [10–15]. Here, SALL1 is linked to breast cancer.
