ITLN1 and colorectal carcinoma: Katsuya showed that the ITLN1 protein was lowly expressed in 87 of 148 CRC cases (59%) by immunohistochemistry; CRC cases with reduced ITLN1 expression had higher M grades than CRC cases in which ITLN1 was retained (P = 0.0017), and patients with retained ITLN1 expression tended to have more favorable prognoses than those with reduced ITLN1 expression [25].
