Since activation of the PI3K/AKT signaling pathway contributes to oxaliplatin resistance in hepatocellular carcinoma [55], colon cancer [56], and cholangiocarcinoma cells [57], it is possible that oxaliplatin resistance was acquired by activation of MARCKS and its downstream AKT signaling in pancreatic cancer cells. Here, MARCKS is linked to malignant colon neoplasm.
