After prophylactic NSM, no breast cancers developed in the nipple-areola complex (NAC), skin flaps, subcutaneous tissue, mastectomy scar, chest wall, or regional lymph nodes on the side of the risk-reducing procedure at a median follow-up of 34 and 56 months (respectively for BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutated patients).
