MYB and astroblastoma: Meanwhile, ependymal differentiation is not restricted to ependymoma, but is generally accepted in several other primary CNS tumors, including angiocentric glioma, astroblastoma, chordoid glioma, and papillary tumor of the pineal region [reviewed in reference (20)], and the former 3 are known to be associated with specific genetic alterations: MYB‐QKI fusion, MN1 fusions, and PRKCA D463H mutation, respectively (21, 22, 23, 24, 25).
