For this purpose, we established a murine NASH model by feeding a high-fat high-carbohydrate (HFHC) diet and high iron diet to investigate the incidence of liver tumors in MUTYH-null and wild-type mice and to carry out gene expression profiling in non-tumorous hepatic tissues from MUTYH-null mice with the development of liver tumors and wild-type mice without the development of liver tumors. The gene discussed is MUTYH; the disease is metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis.
