Interestingly, a genomic mutation signature (GMS) obtained with eight selected genes (TP53, KRAS, STK11, EGFR, PTPRD, KMT2C, SMAD4 and HGF) was able to predict response of NSCLC patients to immunotherapy, most notably to anti-PD-1 therapy [118]. This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
