Analysis of CM of FACS-sorted NK from PCa blood samples, allowed the identification of pNK signatures, characterized by up-regulation of cytokines and chemokines with pro-inflammatory and pro-angiogenic (CXCL8/IL-8) properties, as well as factors involved in the extracellular matrix (ECM) remodeling cascade (MMP-1, MMP-9, uPAR); pro-monocyte recruiting features (CCL1, CCL2, CCL5) and properties involved in M2-like macrophage polarization (IL-10). Here, MMP9 is linked to posterior cortical atrophy.
