In conclusion, our study elucidated the possible pathway that DNA methylation at the promotor region causes miR‐204 silencing, whereas overexpression of miR‐204 targets IRAK1, resulting in increased expression of the downstream NF‐κB signalling pathway and MMP‐2/MMP‐9, thereby alleviating T‐ALL (Figure 7). This evidence concerns the gene IRAK1 and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
