Boettger et al. found a lung cancer patient with BRCA2 pathogenic germline mutation with strong family history of breast cancer [15], and Marafie et al. also reported a lung cancer patient from an extended family segregating different types of hereditary cancer over several generations, including lung, breast, ovarian, colon, prostate and renal cancers [16]. This evidence concerns the gene BRCA2 and hereditary cancer.
