CTLA4 and colorectal cancer: Additionally, three checkpoint inhibitors namely anti-PD-1 mAb nivolumab alone or in combination with anti-cytotoxic T-lymphocyte-associated protein 4(CTLA-4) mAb ipilimumab and anti-programmed cell death protein 1 (PD-1) pembrolizumab have been approved for the treatment of patients with metastatic microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) or mismatch repair deficient (dMMR) colorectal cancer [9,10].
