Among these, CP (ceruloplasmin) and ALDH3B1 (aldehyde dehydrogenase 3 family, member B1) were clinically confirmed to be associated with T2D (80, 81) whereas most of the other genes such as DHODH and ANXA4 were less known to be associated with TG and thus may serve as novel targets.
