According to the human protein atlas database, DDB2 is a favorable prognostic marker in endometrial cancer, cervical cancer and breast cancer (https://www.proteinatlas.org/ENSG00000134574-DDB2/pathology), whereas CDT2 is the unfavorable prognostic marker in renal cancer and liver cancer (https://www.proteinatlas.org/ENSG00000143476-DTL/pathology), which is fit well with our data. This evidence concerns the gene DDB2 and renal carcinoma.
