IL10 and dengue disease: Although the prototypical anti-inflammatory cytokine, IL-10, is frequently involved in cytokine storms induced by T cell engaging immunotherapy, influenza virus and dengue virus infection (15, 18, 20), we did not detect any secretion of this regulatory cytokine in pigs upon ASFV SY18 infection except for the final phase, indicating that IL-10 was prevented or left out in controlling the ASFV-derived immunopathology.
