Consistent with the findings reported in previous studies (Zhuang, Yang & Meng, 2018; Yang, Pan & You, 2019), our results showed that higher MCM3 expression levels are associated with worse clinical outcomes and a shorter survival times of patients with HCC, thereby highlighting the potential use of MCM3 as a prognostic biomarker.
