The ratio of reactivity index values between cytophilic and non-cytophilic antibodies [(IgG1 + IgG3)/(IgG2 + IgG4)] seem to decrease with increasing number of previous malaria episodes, i.e. 2.439, 1.782 and 1.452 for N-terminal antigens and 2.613, 1.872 and 1.842 for C-terminal antigens. This evidence concerns the gene IGHG3 and malaria.
