Within each subject separately, in subjects with the highest neocortical tau levels, higher [18F]flortaucipir BPND was associated with lower [11C]UCB-J BPND across ROIs (AD subjects 1–4: r = −0.59, p = 0.003; r = −0.77, p < 0.001; r = −0.43, p = 0.04; and r = −0.49, p = 0.02, respectively) (Fig. 2b). Here, MAPT is linked to Alzheimer disease.
