We also found the PAUPAR and PAX6 co-regulated genes were mostly enriched in those involved in telencephalon and cerebral cortex development, whereas in Neuro-2a cells, the genes controlled by both Paupar and Pax6 are enriched for regulators of synaptic functions (11), which indicated PAUPAR and PAX6 regulate diverse biological processes in hESC cortical differentiation and neuroblastoma cells. The gene discussed is PAUPAR; the disease is neuroblastoma.
