Taken together, our data support the use of nab-paclitaxel as a reasonable treatment option for breast cancer in the neoadjuvant setting, especially in patients with HER2-negative HR-positive cancer and in high-risk patients (i.e., patients with TNBC and high Ki-67), but larger-scale confirmative studies are warranted. The gene discussed is MKI67; the disease is breast carcinoma.
