Intriguingly, Zhang et al. found that, SA-49, a novel sulfonyl-substituted aloperine analogue, down-regulated the protein level of PD-L1 in non-small cell lung cancer cells by promoting melanogenesis associated transcription factor mediated lysosomal proteolysis via PKCα-GSK3β signal pathway. Here, PRKCA is linked to non-small cell lung carcinoma.
