ALB and hepatocellular carcinoma: Since the change of albumin level is related to the prognosis of HCC, Shen et al. proposed that albumin to gamma-glutamyltransferase ratio (AGR) level might be related to the prognosis of HCC, and AGR classification was compared with platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR), it was found that the AGR-PLR score can further stratify HCC patients with different prognosis, and has a stronger predictive ability [29].
