AKT over-production has been observed in a large number of human malignancies [21,27,29,31,32,61,62] in FMTs [22] and in canine hemangiosarcoma’s [17,33], osteosarcomas [18], melanomas [15], neuroepithelial [37] and mast cell tumors [41]. Here, AKT1 is linked to melanoma.
