TNF and lymphoma: After adjusting for differences in baseline patient characteristics, a prospective cohort analysis of the BSRBR-RA database found no difference in the risk of lymphoma for RA patients receiving TNF inhibitors (n = 11,931) compared with those who were biologic-naïve (n = 3367) (HR: 1.0; 95% CI: 0.6–1.8), suggesting that TNF inhibition does not influence the risk of lymphoma over the background risk in patients with RA [161].
