Previous NYHA class (HR: 3.56; 95% CI: 1.55–8.14; p < 0.003), previous hospitalization for HF (HR: 3.41; 95% CI: 1.65–7.02; p < 0.001) and NT-ProBNP concentration at discharge (HR: 2.8; 95% CI: 1.07–7.36; p < 0.036) were independent predictors of readmission at first year; on the contrary, canagliflozin therapy at discharge acted (HR: 0.45; 95% CI: 0.21–0.96; p < 0.039) as a protective factor. This evidence concerns the gene NPPB and hydrops fetalis.
