NQO1 and pulmonary fibrosis: The activation of Nrf2 can increase the level of glutathione-S-transferase (GST), NADP(H): quinone oxidoreductase 1 (NQO1), thioredoxin, glutathione peroxidase (GPx), and other antioxidant enzymes, thereby decreasing ROS and reducing pulmonary fibrosis [220].
