The IL-6 presented an opposite trend in the two groups; in fact it decreased in the KD group by 13.35% and increased in the WD group by 6.52%, resulting in a statistically significant difference between the two groups at the end of the study protocol (KD: 1.17 ± 0.30 pg/mL vs. WD: 1.55 ± 0.39 pg/mL; p < 0.05). Here, IL6 is linked to Wilson disease.
