From the perspective of detection performance regarding common EGFR mutations in lung adenocarcinoma at the initial EGFR testing, our results showed that the detection rates of overall mutations and common mutations (del19 and L858R) were similar (42.2% vs. 41.9% and 39.3% vs. 40.0% for Therascreen and Cobas, respectively) (Table 3). This evidence concerns the gene EGFR and lung adenocarcinoma.
