KLF5 and nonpapillary renal cell carcinoma: Furthermore, treatment of ccRCC cells with 5‐Aza‐CdR, a DNA methyltransferase (DNMT) inhibitor, up‐regulated the expression of KLF5 and repressed ccRCC cell growth, suggesting that hypermethylation might contribute to the down‐regulation of KLF5 in ccRCC.37
