CXCL8 and atherosclerosis: Associated with both cell types were, amongst others, the pathways “Inhibition of Matrix Metalloproteases” and “Atherosclerosis Signaling and Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor Signaling,” which are related to cell differentiation or proliferation and the pathways “IL-8 Signaling” and “Granulocyte Adhesion and Diapedesis,” which are related to inflammation and immune response.
