In the multivariable-adjusted Cox regression model (Fig. 4) that included age, sex, tumor location, tumor size, tumor differentiation, vessel invasion, perineural infiltration, and pre-operative CA199 level, the HR for mortality comparing those with high and low expression of GFPT1 was 2.54 (95% CI = 1.35 to 4.79, P = 0.004), suggesting that high expression of GFPT1 is independently associated with OS following surgical resection in PDAC patients. This evidence concerns the gene GFPT1 and neoplasm.
