GPT and hyperuricemia: After additional adjustment by smoking status (for men), menopause status (for women), drinking status, exercise frequency, SBP, DBP, ALT, FPG, TC, TG, LDL-C, HDL-C, creatinine, and history of diseases in model 3, there were still significant positive association between the VFA-to-LMM ratio and hyperuricemia in both men (4th vs. 1st quartile OR: 1.60; 95% CI: 1.03–2.49) and women (4th vs. 1st quartile OR: 5.22; 95% CI: 2.44–12.56).
