Compared to WT-sham mice, the WT-BDL mice showed typical cirrhotic livers, ascites, upregulated hepatic TNFα-TNFR1 signals, significant circulatory dysfunction (reduced MAP, decreased CO and CI), elevated serum ALT, bilirubin and creatinine levels and hyponatremia, decreased urine output and decreased body weight (Figure 1 and Table 1).
