Recently, Wieczorek-Surdacka et al.33 reported that elevated levels of OPG were associated with a worse renal and cardiovascular outcome in patients with chronic renal disease and stable coronary artery disease and that there was an independent relationship between elevated levels of OPG and low homoarginine (hArg)/symmetric dimethylarginine ratio (ADMA). Here, TNFRSF11B is linked to chronic kidney disease.
