Correspondingly, high-throughput transcriptome sequencing revealed that GOLPH3L expression could markedly alter the expression of 205 genes in breast cancer cells (Fig. 5a and Table 3), and the central carbon metabolism pathway was one of the downregulated pathways in GOLPH3L-knockdown cancer cells (Fig. 5b and Table 4). The gene discussed is GOLPH3L; the disease is breast carcinoma.
