CPEB3 and melanoma: The association between CPEB3 expression and clinical characteristics was analyzed by the Kruskal-Wallis test and Wilcoxon signed-rank test: there was a significant correlation between low expression of CPEB3 and higher T staging (p < 0.001, Figure 1(b)), clinical staging (p = 0.029, Figure 1(d)), melanoma Clark level (p = 0.014, Figure 1(e)), and melanoma ulceration (p = 0.003, Figure 1(f)), while it was marginally significant in N staging (p = 0.089, Figure 1(c)).
