When combining association results from the two centers, we found 12 variables significantly associated with severity (p < 0.05/58 to account for testing 58 variables, Table 1): age, sex, oxygen saturation, diastolic pressure, respiratory rate, chronic kidney disease, hypertension, LDH, and urea, CRP, polynuclear neutrophil, and leukocytes. This evidence concerns the gene CRP and hypertensive disorder.
