Zebrafish have been used to annotate functions of known cardiomyopathy genes (actn2, myh, myl) [51,52,53], discover new cardiomyopathy genes (nexn, lama4, ilk) [54,55], model arrhythmia mutations [56], and evaluate therapeutic compounds [57]. The gene discussed is MUTYH; the disease is cardiomyopathy.
