Importantly, the number of IgA-immunopositive cells in the whole LP area was significantly different between the age groups (p < 0.001) and diet models (p < 0.001); post hoc analysis demonstrated significant differences in the number of IgA-immunopositive cells between 12- and 20-week-old SCD-fed mice (p < 0.001) and between SCD-fed and HFD-fed 20-week-old mice (p < 0.001), as shown in Figure 5e.
