Of note, while a recent phase 2 study of cabiralizumab, an anti-CSF-1R antibody, demonstrated that the agent either alone or in combination with anti-PD-1 antibody is not effective for the treatment of advanced pancreatic cancer (NCT03336216), other anti-CSF-1R antibodies are still being evaluated in earlier phases. This evidence concerns the gene CSF1R and pancreatic neoplasm.
